Privacy and personalization
Useful personalization without advertising surveillance.
Read4Max Classics is designed to recommend practical reading formats and remember optional preferences without selling personal data or using advertising trackers.
What works without consent
The site can read broad browser information already supplied for normal page delivery, such as screen size and a general platform category. This allows wording such as “best for iPhone,” “best for Android phone,” or “best for Windows computer.” We do not request a precise device model, hardware identifier, contact list, location, or advertising identity.
Essential local preferences
When you deliberately choose a light or dark theme, the browser may remember that choice locally. This is a user-requested interface preference rather than advertising tracking.
Optional personalization
When you select Allow personalization, Read4Max may store recently viewed titles and simple on-site reading interests in your browser using local storage. The purpose is to show useful sections such as “Continue where you left off” or prioritize a relevant format. This information currently stays on that browser and is not sent to an advertising network.

Changing your choice
Use the Privacy preferences link in the site footer to choose again. You can also clear Read4Max site data in your browser settings. A future account system may provide server-side history, wish lists, and purchases, but those features will receive their own clear explanation before launch.
